The “Competitive Products” prices went up in January of 2009 at the same time as Federal Express and UPS.  “Competitive Products include Parcels, Express Mail and Priority Mail.   (Flats going at First-Class weighing over 13 ounces becomes Priority Mail and were affected by the January rate change.)   New “Commercial” discounts were also launched for digital meter users when combined with Delivery Confirmation.  Delivery Confirmation is also free when done electronically for Priority Mail and only $.19 for Parcels/NFM.  This alone is a good reason to schedule a process review with your SD Postal account representative.
